Hills, thrills or sit back and chill in South Africa’s Mother City
Cape Town Tour
Cosmopolitan Cape Town has it all!
The first challenge in planning any Cape Town tour is deciding what to leave out.
Iconic Table Mountain overlooks a vibrant city, bursting with fine-dining restaurants, renowned museums and galleries, and world-class attractions.
All fringed by sandy city beaches and dramatic coastline that harbours a wealth of marine life.

Where to go?
As a first-time visitor, you may head for the bustling Victoria and Alfred waterfront with its familiar feel, convenient location and excellent choice of hotels.
It’s also the boarding point for boat trips out to the former prison that held Nelson Mandela on Robben Island.
Wonderful boutique hotels and family favourites can also be found dotted around the city and overlooking Cape Town’s city beaches such as Clifton and Camps Bay.
What to do?
Cape Town holidays regularly spill out beyond the city limits. A road trip to the Cape of Good Hope and the incongruous sight of penguins on Boulders beach are a big draw for visitors.
Cape Town and its surrounds are home to abundant marine life and form part of a unique ecosystem – the Cape Floral Kingdom. The latter can be explored at the wonderful Kirstenbosch Gardens, perhaps lingering longer to enjoy a summer open air concert.
South Africa family holidays will often include a visit to the aquarium, the Cape Point ostrich farm or a boat trip out to Seal Island. This tiny speck of land is home to thousands of cape fur seals, as well as the marine predators that consider them a delicacy.
When to travel?
You will discover that a Cape Town tour can easily be tailored to suit the needs and interests of visitors of all ages.
And while the warmer, drier months between October and May are often favoured, Cape Town holidays really can be enjoyed at any time of year.
