We are Tess and Mike. Between us, we’ve spent decades living and working in Africa. We understand her unique challenges and quirks.
We’ve managed some of the leading safari and beach lodges on the African continent, and we now take great pleasure in sending happy families on luxury safari adventures of their own.
As parents, we also understand what’s important to you when it comes to planning your own African safari holiday. Whether it’s your first time or you’re an experienced safar-goer, we’re with you every step of the way.

Coral Tree was created with families in mind
We want to share our experiences of Africa with other families.
We know that when it comes to Africa there are many specialist operators out there, but we felt there was a need for a UK African safari specialist focused solely on luxury family adventures.
We created Coral Tree because we know Africa as parents, as siblings, and as a son and daughter.
Africa has played a huge role in our family journey. We met in Zanzibar, got engaged in the Masai Mara, and married in Kenya‘s Rift Valley. And we took 27 members of our extended family on safari after our wedding.
