Families can embark on guided 4×4 excursions to explore the desolate, haunting beauty of the Skeleton Coast, discover shipwrecks, and observe the diverse desert-adapted wildlife, including the local inhabitant Danny the elephant, desert lions, brown hyenas and jackals.
Thrill-seekers can take to sand boards on the dunes or whizz around on a quad biking excursion nearby. And the captivating Clay Castles, a natural rock formation in the nearby Hoarusib River are definitely worth a visit.
