Ntemwa-Busanga Camp offers a variety of family safari experiences. Home to four of the Big Five and legendary for its lion and cheetah populations, an all-day game drive through the Kafue National Park is a highly recommended activity here. Embarking early, guests can spot a procession of birds migrating to the Busanga swamps as well as huge numbers of hippos in the plains’ many pools.
Adventurous families can opt to continue their safari experience with a night drive after sundowners on the plains. Spot nocturnal species such as porcupine, bushbaby, and genet and enjoy sightings of hunting leopards as they become active in the cooler temperatures.
Ntemwa-Busanga Camp is a small authentic thatched camp raised above the plains. The main lodge offers panoramic views, a cosy boma campfire and a shaded bird hide, a restful retreat after an intrepid day. The five simple chalets have a shaded verandah and open-air ensuite, delivering an unfussy experience for people who love to be out in the wild bush.
