Savuti Camp
Savuti Camp, situated in the heart of Botswana’s Chobe National Park, is a luxury safari destination that offers a truly immersive bush experience. Nestled along the banks of the enigmatic Savuti Channel, flowing once again after many years, this luxurious camp provides an ideal vantage point for both land and water-based game viewing.
A large and comfortable main lodge features comfortable armchairs, a library and elevated swimming pool, offering fantastic views of passing wildlife. The dining area and bar also face out onto the channel, ensuring every guest can enjoy the view during dinner or at sundowners.
Set on elevated wooden decks, every room has a balcony overlooking the river and all of its comings-and-goings. While the spacious family unit includes two bedrooms with a shared terrace. There is also an option to sleep under the starry southern hemisphere sky on the camps’ Star Bed, a popular option for excitable kids.
Savuti’s location on a private reserve allows for game drives to be taken into the night and off-road, and fishing and boating are available if the river is high enough. The Savuti Marsh is particularly famous for its impressive predator-prey interactions, with the flowing channel supporting a healthy population of lions and other big predators.
