The Elephant Camp is a luxury tented lodge located in the Victoria Falls National Park, overlooking the Zambezi Gorges and the ‘Smoke That Thunders’ on the horizon.
Rated as one of Zimbabwe’s best lodges, the Elephant Camp offers 12 unique suites, each with stunning gorge views from their private viewing deck, plunge pool and outdoor shower.
Kids can splash about in the camp’s swimming pool while you have an indulgent massage on your room’s terrace, before you all get together for a memorable dinner under the starry African sky and drinks around the sunken boma.
The Elephant Camp offers an admirable array of included activities, from a guided tour of the Falls, meeting elephants at the Wild Horizons Sanctuary to a zipline tour of the hardwood forest in the park. For a culture hit, families can also visit a local village witnessing rural Zimbabwean life first hand.
If you’re feeling adventurous, Zambezi canoe tours, white water rafting and helicopter rides are also available nearby. Camp’s enviable location, just a few kilometres from the mighty Falls means that the whole park is at your disposal.
