Matetsi Victoria Falls is a luxury river lodge situated on the Matetsi Private Game Reserve, a pristine 55,000 hectare wildlife sanctuary with 15 km of private Zambezi River frontage.
The lodge offers 18 luxurious suites and a four-bedroom private villa, all with river views, indoor and outdoor showers, plunge pools and a candle-lit circular bathtub. Morning coffee and snacks are even delivered through your own butler hatch. The stylish main lodge has a further lapping pool on the river’s edge, a spa, gym and a massage sala.
Just 40 km upstream from the UNESCO World Heritage site of Victoria Falls, the lodge offers a range of Falls’ tours including high tea over the cascading waters, helicopter flights and even a gorge swing.
And with a private game reserve at your disposal, you can view massive herds of elephant and buffalo as well as the rare sable antelope on twice-daily game drives through the national park. A sunset cruise on the Zambezi allows for incredible crocodile and hippo spotting as well as kayaking and fishing excursions.
