Wilderness Magashi

Set on the shores of shimmering Lake Rwanyakazinga within Akagera National Park’s only private wilderness area, Wilderness Magashi offers a one-of-a-kind Big Five safari.

Those interested in conservation can join in tracking lions and leopards using identikits or visit the camp’s Children in the Wilderness Eco-Club. For quieter moments, enjoy catch-and-release fishing or unwind by the camp’s pool as you soak in the stunning views.

Evenings at Magashi are spent around the fire, with a traditional Kugisha supper accompanied by stories of Akagera’s remarkable conservation journey.
