Camp Kuzuma
Luxury tented camp set within its own private game concession
Camp Kuzuma
A boutique luxury tented camp located in the untouched Kazuma Forest Reserve and the perfect base for a family safari in the famous Chobe area of Botswana.
Kuzuma is a small-scale camp with only seven luxury tented suites, which lends it a more personal feel than some larger camps. Each tent features a private sundeck surrounded by unspoilt wilderness as well as an ensuite with indoor/outdoor showers and a high-back Victorian bathtub where guests can unwind after a busy day of activities. Two of the tents are positioned together, catering perfectly for family groups.
The centrepiece of the camp is its beautifully constructed main lodge where a swimming pool and sunken fire pit all look over to a nearby watering hole. It isn’t uncommon for a herd of elephants to wander through, bathing and playing in the water.
Surrounded by a 11,000 hectare private concession, guests at the camp can enjoy exclusive game drives in the open plains and forest reserve whilst avoiding the crowds. Guided walks and night drives also offer something for the adventurous.
For guests looking to go further afield, day excursions can be organised to Victoria Falls, only a two hour drive from camp, and the nearby Chobe National Park which boasts an extraordinary diversity of animals, including breeding herds of elephant, leopard, lion, spotted hyena, giraffe, large buffalo herds, roan antelope and sable.
