The Jackalberry Family Suite, with two bedrooms, a river-facing veranda, and open-plan living space, provides ample room for families to relax in comfort while enjoying breathtaking views of the river. The family unit also includes a kitchenette, ideal for families who prefer some independence during their stay.
At Baines’ River Camp, families can enjoy a wide range of activities in the Lower Zambezi National Park. Game drives offer thrilling encounters with the park’s iconic Big Four, including elephants, lions, buffalo as well as the elusive leopard, while the camp’s private vehicles ensure an intimate safari experience.
A river cruise along the Zambezi provides a peaceful way to wile away the afternoon watching hippos wallow, elephants bathe themselves, and baboons play along the banks. For a more adventurous outing, canoe safaris offer a unique perspective of the river or families can try their hand at catching the fierce Tiger Fish for which the Zambezi is renowned.
