Camp Xakanaxa
Camp Xakanaxa is a classic tented camp that offers a superb game viewing experience in the Moremi Game Reserve, one of the finest wildlife areas in Africa.
The camp has 12 elegant Meru-style tents with ensuite bathrooms, outdoor showers and private decks overlooking the Xakanaxa Lagoon. And with the newly added two-bedroom suite, families looking to explore the delta in comfort can enjoy a tastefully furnished private lounge and decking area.
The camp boasts an open-sided dining room, a fire pit under the shade of a jackalberry tree and two pools, all with stunning views of the water and the wilderness beyond.
You can enjoy game drives in open 4×4 safari vehicles with experienced guides, who will take you through the different surrounding habitats. From riverine forests and open savanna to the meandering water channels and floodplains, the sheer range at your disposal ensures plentiful sightings of wild dogs, leopards, lions and elephants.
The nearby Xakanaxa Lagoon and Khwai rivers are perfect for exploration by mokoro or motorboat, taking in the dense bird populations in the area.
