andBeyond Klein’s camp is located far away from most others in this area, a far-flung corner of the Serengeti famous for lions, and much else besides.

On its own private concession, one can walk and do game drives in seclusion, as well as set off to explore the national park itself. Full day drives are accompanied by picnics under thorn trees, stops on the banks of rivers and a slow drive home to see the sunset from your veranda, G&T in hand.

Klein’s Camp is owned and run by andBeyond, one of our favourite safari operators. They have the highest standards of guiding and hospitality, which means you’ll be truly spoiled. Many of the guides here are from the local Maasai villages and will be happy to teach you and your family about the traditional Maasai culture.

At the right time of year, the great migration makes its way through this part of the Serengeti, however, outside of that time the game-viewing is always consistently excellent. And with a 10,000 hectare private concession to explore, you are likely to see few other tourists.
