Mkombe’s House is one of those gems; a private home specifically designed with families and groups in mind, perched in an enviable location overlooking the awe-inspiring northern Serengeti. and close to the famed Great Migration river crossing sites..

The house is completely private and consists of four bedrooms, lounge, dining rooms, swimming pool and plunge pool. The property is about the outdoor space as much as the indoor, with plenty of room to relax and reflect on the spell-binding safari experiences on offer.

As the house is self-contained, children of all ages are welcome; activities are private and the dining agenda is completely flexible. The property was designed with families in mind, with plenty of fun activities on offer to keep the little ones entertained. Groups of adults are also made to feel very welcome, although it is worth noting that two of the bedrooms are smaller and designed for children.

Mkombe’s House is operated by Nomad Tanzania and named after one of the company’s founding guides, who was a pioneer in delighting visitors to this part of the world. The Nomad team today ensures his legacy lives on.

A stay here combines perfectly with Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara and/or Tarangire, to complete the Northern Tanzania circuit.
