This truly beautiful place, which blends so easily into this stunning park’s landscape, is much more than just a lodge.
Jabali Ridge is a retreat of sorts, with its relatively remote location in Ruaha National Park, glorious views from each room and the swimming pool in particular, and the spa it has available too.
This is not to say that game viewing and other activities take second stage – the emphasis here is most firmly on making the absolute most of the Ruaha’s phenomenal wildlife.
Well-known for a high density of predators, and big herds of elephant, this park is a must for those seeking fewer vehicles and visitors, and some wide open horizons to boot. It’s the largest national park in Tanzania. We have never been to Ruaha and been disappointed – this is one park not to miss.
Walking safaris here are some of the best in the region, and with a diversity of habitats on offer in Ruaha National Park (sand rivers, miombo woodlands, open plains to name a few) a stay at Jabali Ridge will have you ticking wildlife off your list regularly. A crowd-pleaser of a lodge is an understatement.
