Elewana The Manor at Ngorongoro is reached after a twenty minute meandering drive through the extensive Shangri-aka coffee estate, on the slopes of the Ngorongoro crater.
The earth is a rich red and this fertile soil allows for not only especially delicious coffee, but for beautifully manicured lawns and flower beds bursting with huge colourful blooms.
Accommodation is provided in homely suites or the more expansive three-bedroom stable cottages, which are perfect for family groups.
A wander though The Manor’s gorgeous grounds is the perfect thing to do with your first morning coffee. You may then choose to go on a game drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, or make the most of this luxurious place by relaxing in your family cottage, or suite, investigating the wine cellar, going for a ride from the fabulously well-maintained stables, or visiting the spa.
There is plenty for the busier members of the family to do, including mountain biking, or nature walks.
