Jaci’s Safari Lodge

Jaci’s Safari Lodge is at the very top of our list for a stay in Madikwe Game Reserve. Uniquely family friendly, guests of all ages are exceptionally well taken care of here.

The owners built this lodge in the 1990s with their young children very much in mind, and it shows.

The family lived here themselves and thoughtful touches like the steps round the swimming pool, and the ‘jungle drives’ for young children, make this an ideal location for a kids safari, and parents can relax safe in the knowledge that the little ones are well taken care of.

Madikwe is one of the best places in Africa to see the elusive and endangered African Wild Dog, sightings here are the norm rather that the exception. In addition to those, the reserve is famed for other predators; game drives and walking safaris are always exciting.

The lodge has regular wildlife visitors big and small, which is always entertaining no matter your age!

Many of the staff have been working at Jaci’s for many years, and there is a real sense of community, which goes a long way to creating the welcoming and relaxed atmosphere.
