Although Chobe National Park can be busy in peak times, the sheer range available here makes a visit worth your time. Game drives and river boat safaris are particularly popular, but for those looking to discover some of the astounding 450 recorded bird species here specialist birding safaris are also available.
Many families enjoy getting a taste of Setswana culture, from fishing trips to visits to local villages. And day trips to the extraordinary Victoria Falls can also be arranged from Chobe National Park.
Expect a phenomenal diversity of game, beautiful landscapes and hidden pockets of culture to be discovered.
Day 1 - 3 Day 3 - 5 Day 5 - 7With a landscape similar to the Okavango Delta and an open border alongside the Chobe National Park, the Linyanti Wetlands showcase some of the best scenery and wildlife that Botswana has to offer.
This game-rich region is also remarkably accessible from Botswana’s other popular safari locations, making it a favourite central point in any safari itinerary.
The Kwando, Selinda and Linyanti concessions may each have slightly different landscapes and wildlife, but each boasts world-class lodges and camps and truly phenomenal guides. Large breeding herds of elephants are a defining experience here, whether you are watching them swim or simply hearing them trumpet their way towards water nearby.
Day 1 - 3 Day 3 - 5 Day 5 - 7The site where the Okavango River diverts into the many fingers of the delta, flooding and receding during the year, is a flourishing oasis filled to the brim with wildlife and unforgettable water and land-based safari experiences for every age group.
It is an immensely seasonal space, which is part of the reason why we love it so much: the better you know the Delta and its changing seasons, the more unforgettable your Okavango Delta safari will be.
Expect to see everything from big cats to lazy reptiles and a tremendous collection of birdlife.

Day 1 - 3 Day 3 - 5 Day 5 - 7
Situated in a 11,000 hectare private concession, Camp Kuzuma is the ideal camp to explore Chobe’s plentiful wildlife on land and water.
Kuzuma is a small-scale camp with only seven luxury tented suites, which lends it a more personal feel than some larger camps. Each tent features a private sundeck surrounded by unspoilt wilderness as well as an ensuite with indoor/outdoor showers and a high-back Victorian bathtub where guests can unwind after a busy day of activities. Two of the tents are positioned together, catering perfectly for family groups.
Day 1 - 3 Day 3 - 5 Day 5 - 7Today you will drive to Linyanti Ebony camp, a cosy tented camp on a private concession with abundant wildlife and stunning views of the marsh.
Linyanti Ebony Camp is an exclusive safari retreat of only four tents nestled in the pristine wilderness of the Linyanti Concession in northern Botswana.
As Linyanti Marsh is the only local water source during the dryer months, unrivalled game viewing can be enjoyed from the mokoro or even by helicopter from April to November.
Camp is centred around a Meru-style central tent, with cosy lounge seating, glittering plunge pool for post-drive dips and a traditional boma.
Day 1 - 3 Day 3 - 5 Day 5 - 7Khwai Leadwood is a luxury camp offering an intimate and exclusive safari experience on the edge of the Khwai River. As all that separates the Moremi Game Reserve and the community-run Khwai Concession, the river is a hot-bed of activity with hippos wallowing and regular elephant crossings.
Seven elegant rooms tastefully combine modern touches with traditional crafts, including locally woven baskets and beaded decorations. And the specially-designed family tent features a conjoined bathroom and private veranda, ideal for families wanting an adventure in comfort.
