Nairobi

Mara Triangle
Day 2 - 4
The flight from Nairobi Wilson to the Masai Mara takes between 45 – 90 minutes in light aircraft, depending on how many stops you have on the way.
You’ll land at Angama Mara’s own airstrip and be taken on the short drive to the lodge. Angama Mara has a prime location, overlooking the Mara Triangle, along the edge of the Oloololo escarpment. The views from the lodge are simply breathtaking, and this one of our favourite areas for game-viewing in all of East Africa.
Over the next three nights and four days you’ll be able to explore this incredible wilderness and its varying landscape and topography. This is Big Five country and the wildlife is spectacular all year round.
We recommend adding in a hot-air balloon safari to enjoy the wildlife from a different perspective (additional charges apply).
Furthermore, Angama offer a wide range of activities, such as walking safaris along the escarpment, ‘Out of Africa’ picnics, Maasai beading workshops, and a fantastic programme for children.

If you can drag yourself away from your villa you’ll be able to enjoy the white sands and turquoise waters of Diani beach. This is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a safari.
