Family Safari Packing List
Packing for a safari is relatively straightforward. Lightweight layers, comfortable walking shoes, a warm fleece or jacket, a hat, swimwear, sunglasses and a lightweight waterproof jacket are all useful.
Binoculars, a camera, reusable water bottle, small day bag, head torch, sun cream and insect repellent are also worth considering.
For children, favourite snacks, books, a wildlife journal, coloured pencils, a camera, headphones and a small comfort item for younger children can all be useful.
Try not to overpack. Many lodges offer laundry services, and luggage restrictions on light aircraft can be strict.
Tipping on Safari
